Promoting Literacy  among primary school pupils was  the  main objective behind a series of reading programs hosted by GKRS from March 19 th -28 th . 

With assistance from the Ministry of Education, the Company carried out the reading program at three  Primary Schools — namely East Lapenitence, Agricola and St.Sidwells.  A total of 62 pupils from Grades 3 and 4 participated in the program.  

Jamaica isn’t the only country in the Caribbean feeling Champs fever! With the Annual St. Kitts Interschool Track and Field Championships just around the corner, Western Union Money Transfer Services, has stepped forward to support the 2012 staging of the games there.

In a ceremony held on Wednesday 21st March 2012, at the ZIZ Media Room, Ms. Kerriann Johnson, Western Union’s Eastern Caribbean Markets Manager, presented Mr. Evris Huggins, SKNAAA Public Relations Officer with its sponsorship package towards the successful hosting of the event.

Easter weekend fast approaches!  It’s a time when many pack their suitcases  with swimsuits and LBDs and head abroad for the start of a party season which will stretch all the way through to summer. It’s also an opportune time to take the half day trek to the UK to enjoy the magnificent sights and sounds only vacationing in Europe can offer.
